The most commonly observed adverse events associated with the use of sertraline and not seen at an equivalent incidence among placebo treated patients were:gastrointestinal complaints, including nausea, diarrhea/loose stools and dyspepsia; tremor; dizziness; insomnia; somnolence; increased sweating; dry mouth; and sexual dysfunction.
